Coffee News is currently looking for a part time Delivery people.

Candidates must:
Be geographically adept, and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions. Be available between 10:30 am and 5:00pm.
Have their own compact vehicle
Have a class 5 Driver’s License.
Live or know the geographic area well.
Speak English
Provide a recent Driver’s abstract.

This is Ideal for a semi retired person looking to keep busy or a stay at home parent.

Outside Sales Representative — Commission Only

Coffee News is looking for a friendly, self-motivated, results-driven sales professional who knows how to close. In this role, you’ll sell advertising campaigns tailored to each client’s needs, helping local businesses grow through Coffee News.

Positions are available throughout Alberta, with the strongest opportunities concentrated in Edmonton, Calgary, and the surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for sourcing new leads and closing sales.

The Role you play

The outside Sales Representative position will:
  • Generate new business activity and establish new customer accounts by cold calling, following up on referrals, emailing and scheduling in-person client meetings
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, networking events and lead generating events
  • Manage customer accounts by meeting with the client, reviewing active advertisements and making recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the campaign
  • Maintain a strong understanding of various campaign options and features in order to answer specific customer questions

Technical and interpersonal skills

  • Be proficient using computers and software such as MS Office with the ability to learn ‘custom’ software
  • 1 – 2 years of outside sales experience
  • Above average customer service and salesmanship skills
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys building customer relations either on the telephone or in-person
  • Proven ability to meet sales goals and demonstrates closing skills
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, friendly, positive and keen to contribute to the success of the company
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and own a reliable vehicle

This role is commission-only — but with an uncapped, competitive structure, your earning potential is limited only by your drive.
